He represents plaintiffs and defendants in federal district courts throughout the country in patent litigation matters, as well as other commercial cases involving technical subject matters such as anti-trust litigation. Ken’s applied mathematics degree from UC Berkeley has greatly aided him in achieving a deep understanding of technologies across various fields, from network communications and computing to methods for semiconductor and lens fabrication to consumer electronics and medical devices.

Ken has experience with federal appellate proceedings, with inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the USPTO, with opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the USPTO, and with patent infringement proceedings before the International Trade Commission. He was named to the 2020, 2021 and 2022 Northern California Rising Stars lists by “Super Lawyers.” His writing on patent law has been published by Law360 and American Bar Association. Prior to joining Turner Boyd Seraphine in 2024, Ken successfully represented clients ranging from inventors to major companies such as Amazon Web Services, Juniper Networks, Largan Precision Co., Acer. While in law school, Ken received an Intellectual Property and Technology Certificate through his focus on intellectual property and spent a summer drafting and arguing trademark prosecution before the USPTO.
