San Mateo, CA – Intellectual property law firm Turner Boyd Seraphine announced Tuesday, that Andrew Thomases has joined the firm as a partner. Andrew joins the Silicon Valley-based, boutique intellectual property firm from Ropes & Gray, where he was the co-head of the technology, media and telecommunications group and had previously served as chair of the Intellectual Property Litigation practice group.
“Andrew and I were both law clerks for the Federal Circuit and have known each other for decades. Andrew has achieved successes for companies in the fields of computer technology, semiconductors, analog circuits, wireless technology, video streaming, medical devices, and many others. He is a nationally recognized first-chair trial lawyer with nearly 30 years of experience litigating complex cases in federal courts throughout the country as well as before the International Trade Commission.

Andrew Thomases was previously a partner with Ropes & Gray, and before that with Skadden Arps and other AmLaw 100 firms. He has a degree in Physics from Amherst College and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
